one of my younger brothers will be graduating college in just a few weeks. (it’s about time alan! lol) my mom really wanted him to take a few pictures to put in his graduation invitations, but trying to find time around his schedule is like trying make an appointment with the president (nearly impossible). For some reason, he thinks that he always has to be busy. anyways, he managed to find thirty minutes to squeeze me in on saturday afternoon to get a few shots.

first of all, big shout out to miranda today - she turned the big 1-8 today (well, she actually turned 26, but she’s in denial about growing old 
). so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Miranda!!!! I know I don’t have a pretty picture and inspirational message like she did on my birthday, but that would coping-catting, so i’ll just stick to the cyber-blog happy birthday message :).
on another note, i have a confession to make. me and miranda are absolutely hooked on american idol. i didn’t get into it very much last year, but i’m addicted to this season. my favs are brooke white and jason castro, but i also really like david cook as well. i just really like brooke and jason’s uniqueness (and brooke is just so sincere when she sings). but even if you don’t watch the show, you should at least take a minute to watch some of these performances.

tonight on american idol is the now annual “idol gives back” special, and it really is an awesome cause. so if you have nothing to do on this wednesday night at 6:30, turn the tv on to fox and support a noble cause.

shhh… i have to tell you something. heather is going to kill me for posting this so just don’t tell her.
you know the type of people that think that their dog is human. the type of people that even dresses their poor little dog in human type clothing. yep… that person is none other than heather! this weekend while shopping at petco, heather found some cute little animal clothing. she’s always been the type to say that she would never treat an animal like a human and certainly wasn’t going to dress her animal in clothing…that is…until now. she found the cutest black dress and i convinced her that abby really needed an Easter dress. in her defense, i am honestly the one that talked her into it..mainly just so i could have something to laugh at.
even if you think animal clothing is a little much..you can’t help but think that abby is the cutest dog ever in her Easter dress!!

well today is someone’s birthday… nope, its not mine, although i wish it were. (mine is coming soon though)
today is Heather’s big 24th birthday so if you see her give a birthday wish!

i’ve been going through some pictures i took over the holidays and thought i would post a couple. i took so many pictures over thanksgiving and christmas and they’ve just been sitting on my memory card. these are my only two cousins, noah and emily.
noah is having a birthday party this weekend so we will be shooting a couple of pics out in the sticks next weekend. he is one of the most loving little 5 year olds i know!

We had a great time cheering our Tigers on in the national championship game last monday! They were truly a team of destiny, and they deserved to be in the big game over any other 2-loss team, in my humble opinion of course. anyways, here a few pics from our party.

So since LSU is playing in the New Orleans dome on Monday for the national championship, we (with miranda’s aunt since she knows the city better than we do) decided to head down there this weekend to soak in the atmosphere and festivities leading up to the game. We weren’t able to land us some tickets to the game, so we have to settle watching it at our house on FOX. We are going to have a kicking party though with some friends and cheer on our Tigers. We’ll post some of those pics later this week (however, if LSU loses, you may never see those pics seeing as how I will try to put that night out of my memory ).

AllState had an area set up to give away BCS Championship gear, advertise, and so forth. They even had the actual BCS crystal football that is given to the winner of the game to allow people to see it and take pictures with it. isn’t it beautiful!

we wanted to thank all of our clients who have made this year so successful! we have been so blessed to have such great clients this year! without all of your help we wouldn’t have had such a great year! we wanted to look back over 2007 and share some photos from each of our shoots this year! we are looking forward to 2008 and can’t wait to share all that we have in store.

i am so in the Christmas spirit already this year. after getting the scrapbook room all painted and decorated, i decided that i wanted a tree in there. i got a white tree with red and teal ornaments to match the room. it is sooo cute! the picture just doesnt do it justice.
i’ll have to post some pictures of the completed office/scrapbook room a little later. i still have a few pictures to hang.
and just because i’m in the christmas spirit…heres a little song by my all time favorite band, Relient K. Its one of their Christmas songs. The video isn’t great, but I still love their songs. we just picked up their christmas cd called “Let it snow baby…Let it reindeer” off of itunes! It is great!!!
