You may remember Brittany and Andy from there wedding HERE and from their engagements HERE. We were super excited when Andy contacted us to see if we would be interested in taking maternity pictures for them. We had such a fun time with them during their wedding that we jumped at the chance to hang out with them again and snap some pics of such a fun couple . They had a great location picked out for us, and it was so good seeing them again in this new exciting stage in their life.

So here is part #2 of lots of blog posts, and this should have us caught up for a week or two, then the fall wedding season begins in full swing. Bring it !

First off, Ana and Chris’s wedding. Ana and Chris got married in July at Christian Life Church and the reception was held at Aubrey Hall…and if you remember from our last post, we love shooting at Aubrey Hall . We’ve been excited about shooting their wedding ever since we had such a fun time doing their engagements last year, and the wedding day didn’t disappoint! We had a GREAT time and they are such a fabulous and fun couple! The wedding and reception was beautiful, and even though the weather wasn’t perfect and rained some, they didn’t let it damper their happiness and excitement for starting their life together.

Ana and Chris also chose to see each other before the wedding to allot for more picture time and to help the day flow seamlessly.

Next up, we had an adorable family photo shoot for one of my old highschool friends Cheryl, her husband Josh, and their precious little boy Braeden. We met up at Black Bayou in Monroe, and I’m not gonna lie…it was about 115 degrees with 100% humidity! It was HOT! But they were such troopers (I know I complained waaaay more than them about the heat) and we had a great time with them despite the heat and my whining about the heat .

And lastly (but certainly not least), we shot Amanda’s maternity pictures at her parent’s house in the country. It was a beautiful location with a beautiful mother-to-be, can’t beat that combo !

I just love this family. I really do. I’ve been friends with Lindsey for many many years and I cherish our friendship very much. I can remember when we were in high school, we’d get together and “exercise” together (and by “exercise” I mean we would bake cookies and watch tae-bo…no DO tae-bo, but WATCH tae-bo). When we graduated, she and I and a couple of other friends went on a week long cruise to the Caribbean; and when I think back on that trip I literally laugh out loud thinking of some of the memories we created. I’m so thankful that Lindsey has been a part of my life, and I look forward to many many more years creating fun memories .

When Lindsey asked us to do family pics while they were in town, I was super excited because I’d finally be able to meet their precious Anniston. Anniston is truly a miracle, and you can read about her story on Lindsey’s blog HERE . It was so much fun spending time with them while we took pictures.

This past weekend my family and I (and of course my best friend Miranda who is practically family anyways…plus we needed a photographer for the family photos ) went to Gulf Shores for a final summer trip “hoorah.” We had such a fantastic time, and spending time with my wonderful family always reminds me how lucky I am to have them. The condo we stayed out was AMAZING…by far the nicest place I have ever stayed and probably ever will stay. The only bad thing about the weekend was that it rained a good bit of the time, but luckily we still had a great time shopping and even managed to squeeze in a family photo shoot when it wasn’t raining. Here are some of pics from our weekend.
