i’ve been going through some pictures i took over the holidays and thought i would post a couple. i took so many pictures over thanksgiving and christmas and they’ve just been sitting on my memory card. these are my only two cousins, noah and emily.
noah is having a birthday party this weekend so we will be shooting a couple of pics out in the sticks next weekend. he is one of the most loving little 5 year olds i know!
here is one of noah from christmas:

and here’s one of emily that i took way back at thanksgiving:

i hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. mine certainly went by fast, so i am glad to get tomorrow off!

Little Conner was born less than a week before Christmas, and we were asked to take some Christmas baby pictures. We both love baby shoots, and couldn’t turn down the opportunity. He was soooooo easy to photograph because he just slept….well, like a baby
Here are a few:

Well, that’s all for now. We’re off to New Orleans to soak in the festivities before the national championship game on Monday between our LSU Fightin’ Tigers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.Have a happy and safe weekend!

with our new cameras. still trying to learn all the new little features and “ticks” of the camera. every camera and lens is different and they all have a learning curve, and so of course we headed over to my aunt darla’s house to practice and get to know our cameras a little bit better. here are a few of those pics…

look at these big eyes and slobber hanging off the lip. how cute!

and here’s one of yours truely:

miranda went to a cousin’s wedding a few weeks back and took her camera to get some practice in. here’s an awesome pic of the cake:

and the exact same picture but post-processed differently. just trying out some new editing styles…

that’s all for now. we might have a bridal shoot if the weather cooperates with us this weekend, and we have a couple shoot scheduled for this weekend too. so check back soon for those. till then, have a happy thanksgiving!!!- heather
