Janna’s bridal pictures
*For those of you taking count, this is our THIRD blog post in a single week! We deserve a cookie… *
We just recently shot Janna’s and Kevin’s wedding, and we are so excited to now be able to share her bridal pictures that we took back in February. Janna wanted for her bridal pictures to be different and unique and sophisticated…and, well, we really struggled initially on where we should take them to achieve this look. But then Janna helped us discover the most awesome location for bridal pictures…The Rising Sun in Monroe. This was the first time we’ve ever shot here, but it certainly wasn’t the last. We’ve been back many times since then because we absolutely love the look of this place. Its so incredibly cool, and we thank Janna for discovering it for us. And Janna was the perfect bride to experiment at this new location with. She is beautiful, fun, and knows how to WORK IT for the camera! Seriously, taking her bridal pictures that day was so easy that a trained monkey with a camera could have done a good job!
See, isn’t she a gorgeous bride! And if possible, I think she looked even more fabulous and radiant on her wedding day (those pics coming soon!).

I couldn’t decide if I liked this one better in color or in black and white, so since this is my blog and I can do what I want, I’m posting both of them. So HA
!

We also went to The Biedenharn Museum and Gardens for a few outside portraits as well. We were a little worried initially about taking outside pictures because it snowed a couple days before the shoot. That’s right, in Louisiana we had SNOW! And not just a few snow flurries, but a couple inches worth of snow. Since we NEVER have snow down here in the south, even the smallest amount sends our area into a state of natural emergency. School close, roads close, and people stock up on bottled water and canned foods like its the eve of the year 2000 again. Luckily, everything went smoothly and most of the snow had already melted. You can still see a few patches of snow in these pictures and I think it makes the pictures look even more magical
.

As much as I loved taking pictures at The Rising Sun, you still can’t beat the beautiful sunlight that we had at Biedenharn:

I love this last picture because it truly shows Janna’s personality. She is so happy and is ALWAYS smiling!

Thanks Janna and Kevin and we hope y’all had a great time in St. Lucia!!!
