Katie and Zac’s wedding
Katie and Zac’s wedding was the fifth wedding in a row that we shot during June and July. Now I know that’s not a lot for wedding photographers who shoot weddings full-time; but for us two part-timers who have other full-time jobs, it WAS a lot. But I honestly can not think of a better wedding and a better couple to end our marathon of weddings with. Zac and Katie were AMAZING to work with, and their wedding was so incredibly fun and beautiful. There are so many things that made this couple and their wedding awesome; but instead of listing them one-by-one, I’ll let their pictures do the talking. So sit back and enjoy the slew of pictures you’re about to be bombarded with
.
Example #1 of their awesomeness: Their wedding took place on a gorgeous horse pasture and the reception was in the horse stable. They even used Mason jars and burlap for their flowers and decorations.

Example #2 of their awesomeness: They wrote sweet letters to each other to be read during the ceremony. It added such a personal touch to the wedding.

Zac getting ready with his groomsmen:

Example #3 of their awesomeness: They chose to see each other before the ceremony so that we could get plenty photos of them and their bridal party. I LOVE it when couples decide to do a “first look.” The pictures are always so real and emotional.

Example #4 of their awesomeness: There was a red barn to take pics with.

Example #5 of their awesomeness: We told Zac to “dip” Katie like we sometimes do, but this is what we got instead ![]()

Example #6 of their awesomeness: The bridesmaids (AND bride) wore boots with their dresses.

Future bridesmaids, THIS is how you should treat the bride on her special day ![]()

Example #7 of their awesomeness: We typically tell grooms “hands in pockets” for a more natural pose, but these groomsmen took it one step further and put their hands in their neighbors’ pockets. Hilarious group of guys. Seriously.

Example #8 of their awesomeness: They now hold the record for the largest group jumping picture that we’ve ever shot.

Example #9 of their awesomeness: The wedding ceremony was at the PERFECT time and PERFECT location to get gorgeous photos. The ceremony was also so personalized to them as a couple. From the letters to each other that were read to the groom praying for their marriage, it was all just so perfect.

Example #10 of their awesomeness: The groom danced down the aisle with the biggest, goofiest grin.

The beautiful cake:

First dance as husband and wife:

Example #11 of their awesomeness: They SMASHED each other with wedding cake.

They were much nicer to each other though with the groom’s cake.

Example #12 of their awesomeness: The dancing at their reception was ROCKING!

There was sooooo much laughing at their wedding:

Example #13 of their awesomeness: Need I say more?

Katie and Zac, thanks guys!!!! We had a GREAT time with y’all, and we hope you enjoy your pics that you’ve waited so patiently for

I forgot to say that I especially like the pic w/the groom wearing the veil and his pants rolled up to his knees. Priceless!!

Totally random question, but WHERE are the bridesmaid dresses from? They are so adorable! I’d love feedback.
