Brittney and Steven
I’ve know Brittney for many many many years, and it was so much fun taking her engagement pictures now that’s she’s getting married (which makes me feel REALLY old by the way because she should still only be like 13 years old in my mind….). Brittney and Steven are one of those rare couples that have been together since they were 15 years old, and are still completely in love even though they are no longer teenagers. I’m so happy for them, and I can’t wait for their wedding in October!
Brittney and Steven, we had such a blast with y’all in Summerfield. And thank y’all for being such troopers even though it was 150 degrees outside :)!
Summerfield was such an awesome place to take pictures. There were old barns and bails of hay everywhere you looked, so we had no shortage of cool locations to take pictures at.

We even found some wildflowers in a ditch while driving around. So naturally, we politely asked Brittney’s mom to stop and backup so we could take pics :).

So sweet!

Then we found some hay bails that we just HAD to use!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

This church was built in the 1800s and it is beautiful! We’re taking Brittney’s bridal pictures inside of it and we can’t wait!

It usually takes a while for the groom-to-be to loosen up and get into the photo shoots, but once they do, this is what we get:

And this ![]()

But we can be “serious” too:

This tree was our last stop for the photoshoot, and it was so special because it was the tree that Steven proposed to Brittney under. Unfortunately, there was no airflow under tree and it was incredibly hot and humid, so we couldn’t spend too much time under there because our faces were melting off. But we like the pics that we did get in the short time we had:

Hope everyone has a happy and safe Fourth of July :)!

Wow, y’all got these done QUICK. They look great. I love the jumping shot. And the goofy ones are very typical. But my favorites are the wildflower shots. Great, great job, you guys. I hope you didn’t mind hanging out with our family. Although we were short several. It really is very hard to believe that my little sister is getting married. We’re getting SO old!!! Well maybe just Miranda…hahaha…J/K!!! Enjoy your new mark 5d. Can’t wait to see the pics produced from it.

Heather and Miranda, the pictures are great! I love the tree picture and oh, I just love all of them! I went back through them to pick my favorites and I can’t pick one. What can I say, I’m the mom of the bride and I’m sure Memory will love them as well. It was fun watching you’ll (from the van). I’m praying that the day of the bridal pictures will be a few degrees cooler. Can’t wait to see more. Thank you so much, I’ll be calling everyone to let them check out your site. You are the perfect ones to take Brittney and Steven’s pictures!

Girls, yall did an awesome job! Despite the heat we really enjoyed it. The next day Steven said “I wanna go take some more pictures, that was fun.” I’m very tickled over ALL the pictures though. Thank yall so much. I’m looking forward to bridal pics!
