We had the GREATEST time shooting Samantha and Roderick’s wedding! It was at Kiroli Park on a beautiful day! There was no chance of rain and I don’t believe that there was a cloud in the sky. It was an extremely hot day, but that didn’t damper any spirits! The first time we met Roderick and Samantha they were so much fun together, always laughing and having a great time. There wedding day was no exception! Surrounded by friends and family, they were smiling and laughing and just enjoying each other’s company. You can tell that they are so much in love!
We started out the day at the Wingate Hotel where the bride and groom were getting ready:

The beautiful dress! Love the lighting here:

Then we headed over to Kiroli Park for the wedding:

It was a beautiful day for an outside wedding:

Immediately after being pronounced husband and wife:

So sweet:

Aren’t the bride and groom gorgeous?:

As I said earlier, it was a little hot outside so the reception was held in the lodge. They just have so much fun together:

First dance together:

Samantha had some really cute family and friends:

Isn’t she adorable:

Samantha and Roderick, I hope that you are enjoying your new home together and getting all settled in! We had a great time working with you both!

So I ran across this awesome wedding entrance on facebook today and I couldn’t wait to post it!! I couldn’t stop laughing and thinking how awesome it would have been to photograph this wedding!
Now…I’m not saying that you have to go this far, but we love the way this bride thought outside the box! Everyone that we’ve photographed knows that we just like to have fun and this wedding looked like everyone was having a complete blast!! Okay… so I know that I already have like a thousand exclamation marks already, but this video rocked. Watch it and see for yourself. I know that it is a little long, but totally worth watching!
And remember…if you decide to do something like this at your wedding then we would love to be your photographer!

Amber and Danny tied the knot about four weeks, and we had a fabulous time shooting their wedding. We knew it’d be a fun wedding from the time we shot their engagements (view them HERE) a while back. They are both so funny and so fun-loving. And believe me when I say that they know how to throw a ROCKING party :)!
Amber and Danny, thank y’all so much for letting us be a part of y’alls special day. We had a great time and enjoy your pics!
A few details:

It is always an emotional time for the bride to see herself in her dress for the first time. I love this moment.

More getting ready pics:

And the groom getting ready:

Amber and Danny chose to do a “First Look” and see each other and take pictures before the ceremony (which y’all know that we LOVE that). Here’s them seeing each other for the first time

LOVE this!

Amber’s bouquet was so unique!

So beautiful:

One thing that we loved about their engagement shoot was the cute little yellow umbrella that Amber brought for pics, so we were psyched when she told us that she bought each of her bridemaids one.

The ceremony:

And last but not least, gotta love a bride who smiles even with cake all over her face

Thanks again Amber and Danny!

We LOOOOOOVED taking Katie’s bridal pictures a few weeks back. Yes, that’s “loved” all in caps and with extra “o’s” in the word. That’s just how awesome her bridal shoot was. Katie wasn’t afraid to think outside the box and have her bridal pictures taken in places that we’ve never shot and in places that aren’t your “typical” bridal shoot locations. And because of that, we think her pictures ROCK. Her and her finance Zac got married today on a beautiful farm complete with horses and breathtaking rolling hills (we’ll share the wedding pics soon). Therefore, she wanted her bridal pictures to reflect her “country” wedding. We started out the shoot at my grandmother’s house out in Luna because if you want country, then Luna is the place to go.

Afterwards, we headed out to Calhoun to the wedding location for pics. The place was amazing! Plus, we got to photograph a gorgeous bride with horses, so it was definitely a win-win!

The horses were so friendly!

Love this!

Thanks so much Katie for being so awesome!

A while back, we shot Jon and Denise’s engagement session. Then a few days after that, we met up with Denise to shoot her bridal’s. This past weekend we had the opportunity of shooting Jon and Denise’s wedding, but realized we’ve been so busy that we haven’t even had a chance to blog their engagements yet.
The day we were scheduled to shoot the engagements we knew that it was about to rain. We called them and they were flexible enough to meet earlier. The rain held off just long enough for us to finish the shoot!
Enjoy!

Aren’t the sweet:

And fun:

What better way to cool you off on a sweltering hot day than enjoying a Coke!

Denise and Jon, we are so glad you chose us to be your photographers! We hope that you are enjoying your cruise!

I’ve know Brittney for many many many years, and it was so much fun taking her engagement pictures now that’s she’s getting married (which makes me feel REALLY old by the way because she should still only be like 13 years old in my mind….). Brittney and Steven are one of those rare couples that have been together since they were 15 years old, and are still completely in love even though they are no longer teenagers. I’m so happy for them, and I can’t wait for their wedding in October!
Brittney and Steven, we had such a blast with y’all in Summerfield. And thank y’all for being such troopers even though it was 150 degrees outside :)!
Summerfield was such an awesome place to take pictures. There were old barns and bails of hay everywhere you looked, so we had no shortage of cool locations to take pictures at.

We even found some wildflowers in a ditch while driving around. So naturally, we politely asked Brittney’s mom to stop and backup so we could take pics :).

So sweet!

Then we found some hay bails that we just HAD to use!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

This church was built in the 1800s and it is beautiful! We’re taking Brittney’s bridal pictures inside of it and we can’t wait!

It usually takes a while for the groom-to-be to loosen up and get into the photo shoots, but once they do, this is what we get:

And this

But we can be “serious” too:

This tree was our last stop for the photoshoot, and it was so special because it was the tree that Steven proposed to Brittney under. Unfortunately, there was no airflow under tree and it was incredibly hot and humid, so we couldn’t spend too much time under there because our faces were melting off. But we like the pics that we did get in the short time we had:

Hope everyone has a happy and safe Fourth of July :)!
