Bridgit and Wade’s wedding
We had the absolute pleasure of photographing Bridgit and Wade’s wedding a few weeks ago, and we couldn’t wait to share the fabulous photos! This wedding was one of those weddings that we could have shown up with a cell phone camera and still have taken gorgeous photos because everything was just sooooooo perfect. The location, the light, and most importantly the couple all rocked!!! This wedding was also our first “destination” wedding because it was in Natchez, Mississippi; and Bridgit and her family were just so accommodating to us! The wedding took place on the beautiful Dunleith Plantation Home. There isn’t too much else that we can say about this awesome couple and their amazing wedding, so just sit back and enjoy the photos :).
Around the grounds of the Dunleith:

The house that Bridgit got ready in, and you can even see her dress hanging in the window:

An up close photo of the beautiful dress:

And the shoes:

I cannot stress enough how much we L.O.V.E for the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony. The intimate moment when they see each other for the first time never ceases to amaze me. Plus, it allows the day to flow better because all the formal family photos can be taken before the ceremony; and once the ceremony is over, its party time at the reception :)! But, as always, we completely respect all of our brides’ decisions and will be happy whether they see each other before or during the ceremony for the first time. But Bridgit and Wade did choose a “first look,” and we ADORE their photos from the first look:

We couldn’t ask for a better location to take bride and groom pics than this oak grove (or is it a cypress grove? oh well…regardless of what tree it is, it’s breathtaking!).

They made our job soooooooooo easy….

The gorgeous wedding cake:

I love making the bride and bridesmaids jump

One of my most favorite bridal party pics ever!

Ceremony time!

So happy.

Couldn’t ask for more gorgeous light as they get into the horse carriage after the ceremony!

First dance as husband and wife…it was such a sweet moment.

And their reception ROCKED! Everyone had a great time dancing well into the night. We took a lot of photos using the flash, but we actually like these photos without using the flash much more. The quality may not be as crystal clear since we had to slow the shutter speed and up the ISO so much, but I just love the mood they give.

Miranda took this photo and I’m incredibly jealous that I can’t say it’s mine…cause its just that awesome:

As a twin, you share everything growing up!! When you get older, you part and go your own way! This is Bridgit going her own way. I wanted nothing more than for my sister to have the perfect wedding that she deserved! Bridgit’s wedding day was so special for all of us! You captured all of her first moments as a new and BEAUTIFUL bride! When I saw the photos, I sat and cried! They are AMAZING!! Thank you so much!!
