I’m so Thankful!

I’ve always loved Thanksgiving and have always felt that I am a very blessed person, but this past year God has given me so much more to be thankful for. Those of you that read our blog and know me personally, know that two months ago my mom had a stroke. As with most, it took us all completely by shock due to that fact that my mom is fairly young. My mom was out of the hospital in less than a week and over the last two months has recovered so well giving me so much to be thankful for! I have a great family, great friends, and a wonderful life!!!

Here is a picture of my mom with my youngest brother after one of his football games. This was a month after her stroke and you can’t even tell can you?? :)

By the way..Heather said that it would silly to post two Thanksgiving posts so she wants me to tell everyone that she is blessed to and is thankful for all her wonderful friends and family!

Ashley and John

Thanksgiving break is finally here! I will admit that I didn’t think it was ever going to get here! Last week the kids were so excited and of course wild knowing that a break was coming. What they don’t realize is that I am far more excited than they were! I’m so glad to have the week off to catch up on some business things and spend some time hanging out with my family!
A couple of weeks ago we shot Ashley and John’s engagement pictures. As usual, we had a great time working with another great couple!

It’s an easy job when our clients look like this:

We shot our last wedding for 2008 this past weekend and it was a great one! We will be working on these this week and hope we can get a sneak peak up soon.

I hope that everyone enjoys this week leading up to Thanksgiving. We all have so many things to be thankful for!

a big family:

while we don’t usually do large family shoots, we just couldn’t say no to this family! we shot matt and malissa’s wedding in june and had a wonderful time. they were such an awesome couple and great to work with. so when malissa contacted us about doing a family shoot for their christmas cards we just had to do it! :) we met up at black bayou and had fun just walking around shooting!

we started out with the entire family:

Patrick and Sandee’s wedding:

In October we had the wonderful opportunity of shooting Patrick and Sandee’s wedding. Patrick and Sandee were both so easy and fun to work with. We really had a blast photographing them! Their wedding was at First United Methodist Church in Monroe, and it also happens to be the place where Patrick proposed to Sandee. :)
