My cousin Stephen and his wife Christy recently had a beautiful baby boy (Reyd), and I got to take some pictures for them and for Christy’s sister little baby girl (Avery). I just love little babies, so it made my day to have two cuties to photograph

We recently had the wonderful opportunity of shooting Heather and Andy’s engagement pictures. We started out downtown first for a little fun.

first of all, big shout out to miranda today - she turned the big 1-8 today (well, she actually turned 26, but she’s in denial about growing old ). so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Miranda!!!! I know I don’t have a pretty picture and inspirational message like she did on my birthday, but that would coping-catting, so i’ll just stick to the cyber-blog happy birthday message :).

on another note, i have a confession to make. me and miranda are absolutely hooked on american idol. i didn’t get into it very much last year, but i’m addicted to this season. my favs are brooke white and jason castro, but i also really like david cook as well. i just really like brooke and jason’s uniqueness (and brooke is just so sincere when she sings). but even if you don’t watch the show, you should at least take a minute to watch some of these performances.

tonight on american idol is the now annual “idol gives back” special, and it really is an awesome cause. so if you have nothing to do on this wednesday night at 6:30, turn the tv on to fox and support a noble cause.

A few weeks back we shot a senior who is graduating this May. We had a lot fun because we got to try out some new locations around town - including the famous “pink house” in Monroe (anyone who lives here knows what I’m talking about).

last week week we had the opportunity to shoot one of my friends that i work with! it was such an easy shoot because she is so photogenic. we went over to Biedenharn Gardens to take some bridal portraits for her. it was a very pretty day and the lighting was great.
